About Story 2 -Aghaginir Swarg(Part 1) Episode

Abhagir Swarga portrays the tale of an unfortunate widow Abhagi who raises her son Kangali through a long struggle ignoring a number of proposals of remarriage.In the first episode Abhagi attends the funeral ceremony of Ginni Maa ( wife of a rich businessman from a brahmin family). She is very fascinated by the way “ginni maa’s” last rites were performed with a lot of grandeur and she is convinced that if his son Kangali gives the funeral pyre to her when she dies she would definitely go to heaven. After the ceremony when she comes back home she falls sick and entrusts her 11 year old boy with the duty of performing her last rites after her death (though those days people from their strata of society were not allowed to perform such rituals , as it was a luxury and only Brahmins & zamindars had those privilege)
